Testimonials

Olly (9)

I think Connor is a good drum teacher because he lets me play to most of the songs I want to learn and he makes learning drumming to them so fun! Also when Connor is not teaching me a song, he is patient when I don’t get the beat the first time and is quite friendly about it. He prints and tries to draw sheets for me to drum to so I don’t forget how to play the songs and/or beats and so I can practice them at home. It is quite fun when Connor lets me select some things that I learn and demonstrates most of the things he teaches me. I would recommend him to you for all of those reasons.

Christine (Parent)

Connor has been a great drum teacher for my son who started as a beginner. He’s friendly and let’s my son choose the direction of the lesson, yet is still learning new techniques, patterns and rhythms and will even show him and let him play along to his favourite songs, Eg. Kaiser Chiefs, The Foo Fighters. My son looks forward to the drum lessons each time and he comes highly recommended!

Hannah (37)

I started playing drums with Connor in November 2021. I’d never really played before and although I’ve only had a few lessons I already feel like I’ve made a lot of progress. He makes the lessons fun and always builds me up to playing along with a song at the end which always feels very rewarding, I’d highly recommend Connor.

FAQ

  • The lessons are tailored for drummers of all skill levels—from complete beginners to intermediate players looking to refine their technique. Whether you want to learn the basics or develop advanced skills like the Moeller Method, push-pull technique, or finger control, I can help.

  • Lessons are typically 60 minutes, but I can accommodate shorter or longer sessions depending on your goals and availability.

  • It’s ideal to have access to a drum kit for practicing at home, but it’s not necessary for your first few lessons. We can also work on pad exercises and hand technique if you’re still deciding whether to invest in a kit. Progress can be made in the first months without a full kit.
